Does it have a vin tag or assembly tag? All my dodges do it’s under the hood it will state all that, or write down the vin and call dealership, they can give you that
Every nv4500 truck I've ever seen came with Dana 80.
What the freak is a hybrid
A hybrid 80 I believe is the 80 housing with 32spline axles
Look on the actual differential it should have a data tag held down my 2 cover bolts. The vin number can be found on the front drivers side of the dash or the drivers door. My 98 CCLB NV4500 with a 215 Pump had factory 4.10 and a Dana 80
I meant the assembly tag...I know where the vin number isoke:. Apparently my questions make me seem really dumb lolLOL
I can't tell you what ratio your axle has, but here's what came stock on all trucks from '94-'02:
REAR
- Auto - Dana 70
- Manual - Dana 80
- All Dually's - Dana 80 DRW
FRONT
- ALL - Dana 60
Now, the Dana axles that Dodge used are NOT the same Dana axles as you will find in other applications.
The D70's Dodge used are specified as a D70-U. They use different bearings, carriers, and axles from a D70 used on a Ford.
Same with the D80's. Internals are not the same as the D80's in the Fords or other applications.
