I am going to be buying the competition transmission iam just need to know what the price to me shipped will be. I have the 48re
 
I need to get a price on a tow unit (47re 2001) with billet input shaft and billet flex plate. I will bring it to Jeff.

He still has has machine and can test them but decided not to get into it full time.. He just wears too many hats , so to speak..

His main focus is tranny's , engines, , & well basically everything..
 
Did I see an Allison Trans for a Ford? I think my E4OD is a garbage heap. My 7.3 has 450,000 miles on it and I can't seem to get a trans to last more than 80-100k. The one I'm using now is a Jasper reman which seems to be better than the rest, but it's on it's last leg.

will he take a stock 68 as a core for a comp 48? I am within driving distance and could bring the truck in for the swap.

I'm not sure on that since 48re cores are hard to find..

Cool deal, does he ever do swaps from 68s to 48s? I wonder what the difference in labor cost is to install one.
 
You'll need a pcm controller for a swap..
I have no experience with them.
Acorn616 (Aron) on here has though.. Pm him about it.
