Is there another way to make a bov setup work besides running the electronic controler and soleinod? Thanks!

You could run a mechanical BOV. Controlled by drive pressure

Source Auto used to sell a mechanical kit i think?

I bought a cheap Ebay special BOV that i was gonna put together on my truck but never got around to it. I was gonna follow a thread on another forum and try it out.

Mount the BOV on your IC pipe, plumb a copper drive pressure line to the top port and run a very light spring in the BOV. You might have to mess with a few different springs to get it to blow off properly.

The guy i was copying had great results after tinkering with different springs

Haha I bet it does! Anything sounds better than a compressor wheel making contact with the cover lol

Even if I ease out of it it barks. Its a 80/87/.90 billet wheel. Ive never had a turbo do it this bad.

You could also run a regulator and boost pressure to the bottom port of the BOV to tune it instead of changing springs.
Got my BOV from JGS.
