OK!!!! I did some research online, figured out it MIGHT work with a different cable. I had been trying to use USB cable. So I went out to Best Buy, bought a i.link cable, also known as Firewire... wtf wouldn't you know it... the damn thing worked! If you aren't able to click right on this video picture, then right click and chose 'play as' or some crap, or 'open link' or something

p.s. ON EDIT: There was some MAJOR malfunction with the video camera (perhaps operator lol) during my pull. I got two hooks. I believe Joel has them, and they'll be around sooner or later. They were not impressive however, as is evidenced by my placing 6th
