I'd have seriously pooped myself at 181 in a 4wd, 4500 lb truck.

Very nice and impressive pass for sure. How do ya'll think the NHRA or NHRDA will handle the safety side of this? I know what 4500 and 90 something mph will do to a guardrail........

We discussed your trip to the other side this weekend. They legally can't go faster than a .99......but ya get one warning!
 
What's crazy is the characteristics of these trucks at that caliber . Back in the 12V days you would have a truck that would lope and gurgle so much on the heavy fueled 16mm pumps. Lavon's truck sounds just as smooth as a street driven truck!
 
How does his setup run so strong time and time again when so many others are constantly battling gremlins? He’s got it dialed in for sure!
