Another option that would be cheaper would be to swap a 400 series engine in it. (DT414, 436, 466, etc.) That can be done using all IH parts, and parts for those engines are easier to find and cheaper than the german diesels |
Depending on availability in your area the 361, 407, and 429 IH engines will bolt in as well.
I know there's a couple places makin the adapters for the B and C series cummins though. I'll try and do a little diggin for ya.
