ISB Swap Durastar 4300

So I have an entire fleet of 2010 era Durastars getting ready to go to their Graves. What I'm looking for is parts information on the swap kits that were created to swap the busses as part of the class action suit.

We are more than capable of the swap, I need a parts list to justify the expense.

Have to call an IH dealer. They made a kit for the Maxxforce7 but dealer said they were supposed to come out with one for the DT. Still wasn’t worth it, with the engine the kit was like $20k which is WAY more than any medium duty IH is worth. They said they would send the parts list because they had done a few with the 7. One we were going to see about swapping was a 2008 with a DT, owner ended up taking the fuel tank bed off and buying a new Kenworth. Can’t sell the IH for $1000

We are looking at it from the perspective that we can swap 8 trucks for the cost of one new unit. That doesn't include the 'cost' of production time.
I'm a dealer, so I'm getting the engines at cost.

The engine control and harnesses are my biggest concerns.
I have a customer with a 2016 4400 with ISB, but that Vin will only get me so far.

And thank you for the info about it being specific to 7l

That’s how we were going to do the swap on a 4 door 4wd workstar. Customer has 2 of them, one has a DT the other has ISB. Vin gives you the harness, engine mounts and fan hub. The rest you will just have to figure out as you go. Same as building a glider but only doing it with junk.

Another option is call Ed Mawk at Mawk Industries. Had a Columbia with a C12 that chucked a rod, customer put a DDEC4 in its place so I just sent him the Cat firewall to engine harness and he repinned it and swapped plugs, worked like a charm. That’s probably the best option because knowing IH they completely changed the pinout on the cummins powered dashes. Mawk insisted on using the Cat harness even though we had the harness out of the ddec 4 doner truck that was also a Junkliner but different year. Believe I got it back in 3 day’s.

x2. Mawk is amazing at what they do and very reasonable.

Still doubt it’s worth it, by the time you buy the engines with no core (or buy cores) and all the required parts including the emissions system you still have a pile.
