I have ESAB and Thermal Arc welders at home (same company now). I like them as much as any lincoln or miller machines I've ever used on the job. ESAB has a lot of new machines out and they are one of the oldest companies, not to mention they were the inventors of modern stick electrodes, tungsten tig electrodes, and plasma cutting.
I have no experience with Everlast but with all the great reviews I wouldn't hesitate to get one for home hobby use.
