Brake question

My truck is a 98 3500 srw conversion ( I didn't do it) I need new tires but I'm tired of how boogered up my rims are so I wanted to run 00-02 rims but the caliper drags over the caliper bracket and caliper

My question is can I put a 2500 caliper on my front end?

Probably won't help much in your situation, but, we once took '01 powerstroke calipers/brackets and used them on the rear of an '07.5 dodge and had the OD of the dodge rotors cut down. This allowed clearance for the inside dually wheel.

You may be able to do something like this to the front. We have also ground on calipers for small clearance issues.

The wheels also have more offset than the 12valve wheels, the axle is wider on the 99 and up trucks.
