NXD1000 with no nozzle

White Collar Fabricator
I bought an NXD1000 progressive kit off Amazon without knowing anything about it, it was sitting in my cart and I got a message that there was two left and they were going for $373! so I snatched it up.

Now I want to install it, but I'm confused. The two stage system comes with nozzles and jets. This single stage system has no nozzles, no jets, and only one -3 an braided line that's bout 10 feet long.

Should I just run the solenoid right into my intake manifold and run the -3 line from the bottle all the way to the solenoid? (its a .093 solenoid)

I worked to develope that system. I never used jets , and that is a small solinoid anyway . just plum in in to you intercooler tank, as far away from the intake as possable. if you need any help on the programing pm me , their teck calls use to come to my cell phone on that system

Thanks Greg, you speaking of this system on here was the reason it was in my cart. When I put it in there it was almost $1000, so I never purchased it, but at $373 I couldn't pass it up!

Why so far from the intake?

To allow the nitrous to change completely from a cryogenic liquid to a gas, and absorb as much heat as possible. I also like for the nitrous to homogenize with the air flow.
I use the power stage on the cold side of the intercooler , and the boost ramp up stage on the hot side

Good to know, thank you.

Since mine is a single stage kit, should I install it pre-CAC?

Will it be possible to program a spooling function, and a power function with only one solenoid?

yes there is, give me a call, ill explain how , your going to need a bigger solinoid

. I use only nitrous outlet . There are abit bigger and made of stainless , but they dont stick or fail to open when you bottle pressure is high.

Awesome, I'll call you this week. In the mean time I will look at my options for installing the solenoid in the Pre-CAC tube and in the CAC end tanks.

*nx*

I found a brand new NOS wet kit for sale locally and was able to pick it up for a song, so I figure I have a few options. The attached picture is the wiring diagram I drew up to use the NOS solenoid for boost assistance, and the NX kit for the rest. Tear it up if you want, its just thought at this point. I'm always open to other options, and willing to try many different setups to see which one I like best. The NOS kit did come with several jets, the biggest was a .093, I can't remember off hand what the smallest jet was.

Comp461 gave me a great idea that I am going to wire up as well, if he wants it online I'll draw it up as well, then maybe he can explain how it works.

looks good , but you need to set the full throttle switch at about 20 %

good you got some reliable solinoids , the aluminum one are prone to not working when you have the bottle pressure above 1000 psi

Okay, thank you. I'm not quite sure how I can mount that throttle switch to engage at 20%, but I have a couple ideas. Anyone have a picture of theirs?

I only have one SS solenoid, I still need to have you send me one for the power solenoid.

use the throttle learn , use a multimeter, and look where you foot brake. then set that voltage at a little before that .

Looking to put a progressive NX kit on my 2001. Want a little more to get me to the 700 mark (super b over S475 with weston's 6x.013's and an SOVP). Thinking only a 50 or 100 shot at most. Sub'd!

With a progressive kit you just run a wide open solenoid, and dial back the amount of n20 by adjusting the pulse width with the included software.
