You could try a few clicks. If you go very far the idle will not be able to adjust back properly. Then you could try adding some shims it might do what you're after also. If you don't have a good cam in the pump you'll probably need one to get the rpm your after and I'm sure you know but that kind of rpm is going to take quite a bit of timing.
