Fuel system

Alright so I just want to make sure I am not missing anything and get a few question out here.

I plan to run a system like this"

sump > -8 line >PDD LP > -8 line > Filter/water separator > -8 line > T or Y >

-8 line > duel feed > -8 line > Aeromotive 13101 set to 50psi > -8 line >

junction block > -8 line > tank

Couple questions

1. Is running he filters after the LP the way to go?

2. On the Aero 13101 do you just plug one side ond use the other + return port?

3. Any suggestions or issues you see?

4. While I am hashing out the pump...Is there any benefit to moving the oil feed to the driver side of the pump?

Thanks for taking a look

What’s the horsepower goal? What size pump?

It is a 180 pump. Will be sent to get maxed and balanced, AFC live, still have some reading to do to know exactly where it will be DVs and such. Most likely feeding 5x18ish injectors.

I am not sure of the actual horsepower goal, PDD says there pump is only good till 750ish but I have also seen people say the cummins pump will do 900 so who knows. ( really wanna stay mechanical pump until I just cant)

Looking at s300/400 compounds. if that helps on the fuel requirements needed.

Why not keep it simple at first, put a fuel pressure gauge in and see if the pressure starts to stumble before you jump into an expensive electric set up. Just my opinion.

That is the plan. If this setup described will/would work then the plumbing can be permanent. if it starts to drop to low then i just add an electric pump and do some rerouting and we are in business.
