dually to single wheel swap

Newbie here hoping to get some direction. I just recently purchased a 05 f-350 C/C dually with 77k miles. It wasn't the exact truck I wanted and for the price and 5 year powertain warranty through ford I couldn't pass it up. However I'm not really happy with the dually option and I'd like to swap it to a single wheel. Is locating a takeoff bed and differentials out of a wreck the best route to go? I called a local auto rebuilder and they wanted 2k for a bed painted to match, front and rear diffs and my parts. Thanks in advance.

That sounds like your best options is that them installing it ?

Thanks for the reply. Actually that was me doing the work. If they'd swap everything for 2k I'd consider it as an option.
