Tool Sharing

3/8" drive impact swivels and pry bars get used on just about every single job at the shop I work at. Snap-On 14.4V 3/8" impact and Snap-On 14.4V microlithium 3/8" drive ratchet are the best time and hand savers.

Gearwrench indexable extendable pry bar. Tough, lightweight, and the handiest prybar I've ever used.

Not sure what you mean by that, I use mine for almost everything but checking ohms. I upgraded to the one with the multimeter. I rarely ever get my test light out anymore.
 
I've said piss on Snap on power tools for the most part. Tired of their fancy arse batteries barely outlasting the warranty, them costing darn near $200 for a replacement. Fuk that. Their miniature 3/8 impact is the handiest piece I own though.
 
Dewalt 20v xr 1/2 impact, haven't had it for long but will break bolts that a snap on 1/2 electric impact wont, and can be had for a couple hundred bucks cheaper than snap on. Batteries are also way cheaper too.

The porter cable impact driver mentioned already also gets used on just about any job. As far as i'm concerned, for the cost, its a must have.

Next on the list will most likely be milwaukee electric ratchets. After using some of the guys snap on electric ratchets, I have to have one but I won't pay the snap on or mac price.
 
The Milwaukee fuel tools are hands down the best buy for me. I use mine in anything from asphalt to dust and in two years haven't skipped a beat. The 3/8 is a little beast,and the 1/2 is a monster.since I've upgraded to the 5.0 batteries I can lace a 34" belt with one battery and that's using the same battery on the grinder to cut the excess stud off.

Have both and the snap on has a little more power but it's larger and harder to get in places. Can usually get a year out of a Milwaukee ratchet unless it takes a swim in the coolant pan. But they're only $99 without a battery so it's not a big loss. Once you own one you cant stand not having one.

I guess I was meaning it took me a while to get in a habit of using it. Now I use it all the time also. Love it for testing window and lock motors.

I won't use snap on electric stuff. My entire box is snap on but i run Milwaukee electric. Btw I am jealous of everyone's toys!

Snap on has one that we use daily. It works awesome.
 
I just ordered a boroscope that plugs into my phone, it has a 5.5mm head so I think it should go down a 12v injector hole, I'm pretty stoked to see. I've been eyeballing the flir tg165 thermal imaging thermometer too, I just don't know if I could really justify it. You can't have too many tools

I don't even own a test light. My near 10 year old power probe 3 is my go-to unless I need ammeter function. I love that thing!

Sadly I own the snap-on version of the air lift. I felt violated when I bought it, but damn is it nice! No issues with a 10+ gallon system even.

That's the one. That is the price I paid for the drill driver combo around xmas time. I will be buying a couple more sets this year. I've had this one for going on two years. I use it all day at work and any projects at home with zero hiccups. Batteries need charged about once a week with moderate use.

Hmm. I wonder if there is anyway I could put a 3/8 drive anvil on it and take the quick coupler off.
