I wondered that I had been trying to find an answer to that on the valve cover breather. I had left the oil cap loose once and it pushed a lot of oil out and I figured those breathers would do the same. That's reason I stayed with the stock tappet because it had some baffling and always fighting oil on the billet ones with just pipe thread fittings.

Truck sees 80 psi of boost and few 4K plus pulls.
