broke ass
im getting ready to have my motor back and in driving it soon. for the ''break in'' period what addivite should i run with my schaffers oil. not quite sure i read some posts bout putting a zinc additvein if so which is the best one to use

I am about to start my truck up, after some work. I am going to use the Lucas oil attitive, which is supposed to have the zinc additive.

I talked to Zach about the same issue. I ended up going with the Lucas break-in additive, it has quit a bit of zinc in it. 5000 ppm in 4.5 quarts is what they advertise, so 2200ish ppm in 10-11 quarts. You want atleast 1500+ IMO, and thats not counting what is in your oil already. Plus the Lucas is easier for me to find over the counter locally. Most any O'Reilly's or Auto Zone has it, I think its $12.99 a bottle.
