Do you know if ecm will work on a 99?

I believe that it will.
You might check with Bob Wagner for verification, though.
The part number on it is 3946242.

Picked up a mostly complete 1999 VP 53 block (cracked) engine with, supposedly, 65,000 miles on it.
It's super clean and has about zero grease anywhere on it, so I believe it's legit.
The block is cracked, so it's getting parted as follows:

ECM, 1999 AUTOMATIC, $350.

VP44, very clean and shiny, $425 SHIPPED.

HX35W, very nice, tight, shiny new-ish looking unit, $350 SHIPPED.

24 valve exhaust manifold, very nice unit, $115 SHIPPED.

VP air intake tube, with grid heater and bolts, $85 SHIPPED.

EXCELLENT condition harmonic balancer (damper), $100 SHIPPED.

Fuel bowl/filter assembly, $125 SHIPPED.

Cylinder head, with a mere 65,000 miles, it's likely not cracked, $250.

Crankshaft, has tone ring, $200.
