Crankcase pressure

I would isolate the drain on the turbo(s) with everything hot just to exclude them.

After that, valve guides can cause what you are experiencing.

You mean PTW ?
Had it set at 6 thou.

No, I mean the ring width vs. the size of the ring groove. I've seen guys get mismatched piston/rings and had too much clearance. This causes the rings to flutter and you get crazy blowby.

Ok, I just built a 6.4L Cummins, and I am getting a LOT of blow-by. I built my own 1/2 gallon catch can (not returned piped yet) and I am getting a steady stream of (surprisingly cold) air coming from the can vent.
Can itself is catching almost a quart every 50 miles.
No "pulse" no "steam", no "choo, choo"....

Should I be looking at the turbos ?

What oil did you run in it 1st?

Cheap Dino oil with 2 bottles of Hamilton zinc additive.
I believe the oil itself was Delo 15-40

I also primed the oil pump and galleys with assembly lube during assembly.
Worked great. Had oil pressure almost instantly.
