So i finally got my setup all together enough to drive it around today. Only thing i have left is to work out the actuator. I am having high EGTs while cruising though and not sure what the cause is. During the turbo build i also swapped out my Schied 5x18 with pintle and lift mods for some used 5x16s that were built by Will before PDD came to be... cruising at 60-65 on the dash (65-70 with the 35s) i am seeing 10psi of boost and about 17psi of drive pressure. This is pretty close to what i was seeing with my WH1C but before it would sit at about 800* max and now it’s running 1000-1050*... right now i just have the nozzle closed up about 1/8” looser than the exhaust brake function with a bolt and nut i tig’d to the turbo for adjustability. i loosened it up a little bit as the boost was coming on slightly quicker than the WH1C, and now it’s about the same but i didn’t see a drop in EGTs. What are your guys’ thoughts?
