Robts Final build F-SVT Fummins

Robts

Proud Fummins Owner
It’s been a while since I’ve really posted anything about my Fummins. About 4.5 years ago I parked the truck with under 60,000 miles on and was not happy with it. It was clean but no means what I wanted. The stereo/interior that took nearly 8 months I hated. Though it sound loud as hell the interior was not what I liked. The underneath of the truck was nasty to today’s standards and I hated the leaf spring suspension. During this time I knew if I built a truck this clean I wanted a garage to park it in and not have to take the wheels off to fit it in. Well about a year after I parked it I got married and we decided to build a together house. With this I had a plan to get the house done then start tearing it apart. We moved in late September 2015. Over the next winter I started to tear into the truck. Plan to fix all the Cummins issues, from oil leaks, get the tac to work, D-tune it a bit and just make everything right. I wanted to clean the ugly frame and 4 link the front. Interior was going to get gutted and do a complete 2012+ interior swap. I had no plans on updating the front end or box but I got a little over board.

Here is some pictures of the truck over the years

Impressive build! Are you planning to swap to 2011+ front end?

Edit: After rereading your original post, I assume you are updating the front to match the bed.

I remember meeting you at Russ Cannon's house wayyyyy back when you were just starting to build that truck.
It was damn nice back then, and got even better as you went along. :)

I saw your truck years ago and it was immaculate. This is amazing. When can I drop off my Excursion so you can give it this kind of love.

Always loved reading your build threads.
I remember when you were doing all the work on the doors to make the speakers work and your console mods. Always top notch work.

Looking forward to what comes next.

Photos does not do the work justice. Rob does his homework, and applies the best to his build. I was fortunate enough to see it the first hand. It's amazing the changes that truck has gone through. LOL The only stage I haven't seen that truck in person was stock off the dealers lot. Looking forward to the rest of the build!
