Code P0542

I deleted my passenger side battery and now this code is coming up i'm assuming it is from the two little wires that connect to the grid heater solenoid i tried to loop them together with no success. any ideas would be appreciated i'm not that good with wiring and electrical. Thanks

I'm no good with wiring and electrical either but you could try disconnecting the all the wires from that solenoid...I removed my grid heater entirely and disconnected the wire that goes up and around over to the intake and I didn't get any codes...

On my 05, I removed the grid heater and both of the relays. I had a check engine light for a little while but it goes away. The code remains but the light goes off.
