proposed or set in stone? 2.5 rules

a revision has been made. once the word PROPOSED is no longer at the top, the rules are set.

Pull the cover and measure it from both sides is what I heard would be done to all trucks at the first pull and them somehow seal it with wire and a tag.

Where is it getting measured? Is there an exducer rule? What wheel are you making the rules off of.

I would think it would be measured where the wheel enters the 2.5 bore to check that the bore is straight. I see nothing about an exducer rule.

I am referring to how will you check taper. It's that has to be spelled out

Not sure how to take to that. We all know it will never be done but I was told from meeting goers that was discussed. If you have different information please share.

Just leave to much grey area. You can't do that with where you wanted the class

"Suspension, Rear: An OEM-style suspension is mandatory. Traction bars and devices are permitted; they must be bolt on only; welds are permitted for attachment to frame or axle housing. Control arms may be strengthened or replaced, provided all original mounting points are retained. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, limit straps, and camber kits are permitted. The rear suspension must allow 2” inches of downward compression/travel, compression stops must be adjustable. All rear suspensions must use at least one working shock absorber and leaf spring per wheel of O.E.M Size appropriate for the truck as it came from the factory. Airbag spring assistance is permitted; airbag compressors must be disconnected. A truck may run a solid suspension using removable blocks with a 24” hitch height."

You guys are asking for trouble with these 2 options. Just make it solid suspension using removable blocks with a 24” hitch height. Too much gray area with a rule requiring 2" off travel and it will add to the confusion while measuring hitches and trying to determine who can run what hitch.
