Are there any updates on how the truck is doing, do they have any plans to race the truck this year, BANKS WILL BE IN ARIZONA MARCH 7, hope the truck is coming back together, i've seen that truck run on 4 seperate times, it's insane, come on out it's time for the diesel world to grow, fast trucks goin head to head is goin to spark more interest in the diesel world:thankyou2:

The truck is coming back together pretty well, just takes time. The rocker panels were ruined and had to be rebuilt, the entire front half was ruined so we chopped it off and rebuilt it, the rest of the chassis was a little tweaked until the front half came off, then it flexed back. The hood is getting finished up with fiberglass and bondo. We plan to run the truck and dragster both at the NHRDA race in Ennis, TX. The red pro stock probably wont be finished by then and neither will the new dragster, but should be soon after. We are very excited for this new season and feel confident it will be great. I should have more pictures at the end of the week.

It happened at August Blackout 2008, in Edmonton. I'll let Alex tell the gory details, but apparently the injector rack hung open. He was trying to shut it down while slamming on the brakes as hard as he could, even popped the chute, but ended up launching airborne off the end of the track. Somewhere I have a photo I shot right after they brought the truck back, and he had bent the brake pedal trying to stop the thing.

Michael Pliska

I suspect the pedal was bent after it stuffed the tundra after the shutdown area.....

Damn, that's a bit of work there but it looks to be progressing.

Alex- you guys gonna compete with her again or is she now dedicated to show duty?

it'll have the motor back in it in about 2 weeks, chassis is gunna be even better now than from Bickle (Bickle didnt build it for a diesel) :bang

I'm actually really surprised, I figured that you'll would cut the body off the chassis and throw it away and start over, good to see it come together.

Its coming back together now. We were invited to come to the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) race at Houston Motorsports Park March 6th & 7th and put on a show for them. It's 1/8th mile Pro Mods on a 10.5 tire, awesome to watch! They always have at least 50,000 spectators. We have HUGE box of free tickets also, if you want any just PM me or email Alex@drperformance.com Email will be the faster response.

This is our other Bickel Pro Stock truck which is going have a common rail 5.9L in it. It is the Diesel Power Specialties truck and it's open to new sponsors. Below is what it will look like.

The truck looks good..but let me clarify something.
1...Pro Mods do not run on a 10.5 tire...not even a W. Also...in ADRL it's called Pro Extreme...not Pro Mod.
2...HMP seats 5000...Not 50,000. There will be SRO tickets...probably be 10,000 or so there...but not 50,000. But...ADRL is running at Houston Raceway Park this year...which will have probably 80,000 people there. LOL

Look for my brother there...he's on Todd Moyer's XTF team.
