Let the Beatings Begin!
I hate to do this, but I have to throw a few of you out on front street about your websites.

Google did something unheard of in my world. They gave us all a heads up on the next penalties! LOL

So, If you're website is not considered "mobile friendly" by April 21st, you will cease to exist in searches on mobile platforms. This does not kick you out of the standard searches. Only through mobile or tablet platforms.

Now, if you need to validate your website I will relent and say this is a good time to use Googles webmaster tools. Normally I would say stay clear of webmaster tools! This is one of those rare times I will say OK.

I personally use W3C Mobile OK Checker for validation http://validator.w3.org/mobile/
This will give you some clues on how to fix your issues. They also have an HTML and CSS validator as well.

I will post some of your websites up, that have issues.

Just to let you all know, my website is a fail. I'm posting these because they are organizations. The rest of you I will not post and totally throw you out on front street. :poke:

I didn't pay Google for a product that only accesses the mobile friendly interwebs. I paid for one with full, unadulterated access.
 
Big, if you pay Google for unadulterated access? You're either into Porn which can be free? Or, you are paying the $250,000 for their Premium analytics (AKA Urchin) and are spending a large sum, trying to out bid your competitors on thousands of keywords. Which is inefficient.

I mean from the consumer stand point.
I didn't pay Google for an operating system that would only access what Google was calling OK to look at.
This would be like buying a car and then ford telling you that you can only drive it in states with a certain type of asphalt.

But it is good that you are watching out for us bottom dwellers. :D And our porn habits.

Your correct. I don't get much of a chance to talk about all things internet these days. But, thank you for the sarcasm! I needed a good laugh.

For a consumer it is supposed to be a win. Google feels that their changes is for your user experience. Google will not say, but it is implied they own the data from the people that use their products. Their main product is Google Search.

Actually, Google has been losing market shares, and there is a major battle to get rid of porn. They all hate how those organizations are able to manipulate them. Most of my test sites are in that battle.
 
I don't have any idea what you're talking about Rustin (Phil pays me to get beer and break fingers) but at the bottom of the page you can change the page format to "mobile version". Does that not count in the eyes of the google?
