A 92's Journey

Seth owned it and sold it.. He fell in love with the 2nd gen 1/2 ton shop truck he just built so he decided to sell the 1st gen.

The one that breaks the tires loose and is virtually un driveable, it has so much power and no weight?
Yeah. That one. Awesome workmanship by Seth on that one.

Saw it go together bit by bit over several visits and the guy is just awesome on the small details.

Mark.

Yea can we get a mod to clean this up? My apologies as well.

Thanks everyone! Was able to make a little progress this weekend. Pumps all done an ready to go, timed at 28*, injector side is all done, ready to start routing supply an return on the pump next. Still shooting to have this thing running by no later than mid February!
Anyone ever use a fuel block on these? Looking to make things look a little better an organized for my fuel return side, any input would be appreciated.

It appears as though the strut is not in correctly. If it has tapered ends, the taper should face the vb.

That particular strap can be installed either way and does not bind with the apply lever.

Did you find the same color in an engine paint?

Thanks, any concern with it coming off?

Little late on the update but better late than never. Had the adapter plate for the transmission polished by a local guy cause I didn't want to over do it on the color, turned out beautiful! Converter from DPC arrived just in time to install everything a few weekends ago. Converter is a triple disc , 2600 stall. During install I found out that the 2nd gen adapter plate pushed everything back roughly an inch which caused my factory transmission mount bracket to not line up with the transmission. With help, all that was needed was cutting and extending the adjustment slots for the bracket on the crossmember back further an everything went right in. Also installed a goerend deep pan. Passenger side output 241 is installed an just waiting for linkage to be hooked up. Much better than the overkill NP205 these trucks came with and able to shed some weight. Currently in the process of lowering the truck. Started on the rear yesterday with swapping out the factory leaf spring blocks which I believe are around 6" for 2" blocks, front will consist of removing 3 leaf springs. More to come, shouldn't be too much longer before it's running.

Finished lowering the truck, 3 leaf springs removed on each side in the front, new blocks installed in the rear, definetly big difference and I love it. New air shifter came in from precision performance, have to say very nice piece an good kit they offer with their top of the line shifter. Will be ordering a split shift control box from ACD to allow for shifting at different RPMs if desired between 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. The wheels shown are from Bogart racing wheels, went with a 15 due to the more tire options for that size available, these are 15x10 with a billet center section, so no worries going from track to driving on the street if I wanted an if I remember right they only weigh 18lbs a piece. They definetly did a fantastic job making these and i highly recommend them!
