Well since komatsu can eat a dick, I’ll try
cat. Does anybody have a engine serial number for a 3054 that should get me the
cat part numbers for my Perkins 1004.4? More specifically the thermostat gasket. My komatsu number dosent cross and there isn’t one in this country anyway. I’ll tear it apart tomorrow to see exactly what I’m dealing with, between the two engines I see at least three different gasket styles. I can get my 1004.4 serial number if there is a way to match my 1004.4 to a similar production year 3054.
Of course this all is for not if I’m wrong on a 1004.4 being the same as a 3054....
