piston question?

I am rebuilding my wifes 93 12valve motor and when i ordered a complete overhaul kit this is what pistons I got. I have already have a set of 5x13 injectors and i just want to make sure there will not be a problem

looks like they have updated the design to something more along the line of the newer style pistons without the sharp edges like the older pistons.

That looks like the 286210s they were the in the earlier non intercooled motors.

It almost looks like the piston he has has a bigger bowl than a 210. Here is a pic of my bad 20 to compare off of.

that is a enterpise engine kit and the stock piston is a 93 intercooled engine

Ok, what is the part number on that piston? That is a pre-intercooled piston from all the ones I have taken apart.

Yeah it is a bigger bowl that would leave the 286110 or 286050 i believe . Heres my 286210

Looks like the 4BT/ turbo ag piston to me.

I believe the 110 is an industrial non intercooled piston and the fuel mixture bowl is 4mm bigger than the 210.

Just send those to me and I will swap you some OE pistons for your VE. LOL I guess I should have said something earlier that these would work fine for you, sorry about that.

Bigger bowl is almost always better for bigger injectors.
