I don't know either. One of those things. I can't think of everything all the time and now I've added it to my list. Next time it will be something else.

I'll have to get some more oil filters from Jeff after a few more changes. "Maybe" I'll add a few of these to the order.

If Jeff is a good friend, which I feel he is, he will put them on your order for you.

My 2014 Ecodiesel was 10k interval so yes. My 2006 was 3k interval which was also about once a year, so I changed it with oil changes also.

I'm a good enough friend to know that Jory likes his filters seasoned on the shelf for at least five years before he uses them. I have a difficult time holding them that long.

Oil change interval is a religious 5K.

Valvoline Premium Blue and Fleetgaurd filter.

That looks to be some south Texas mud dobber work in that filler neck.
Sounds like a half ass job on the frame extension from your description.

Ya, them were some Sanger, Tx dobbers. Friends of Brandon Carr. I'm just glad the price was half ass as well. Makes it less painful.

Ok. I just found this...

Jory. I'm disappointed in you. Change fuel filters.

I didn't know Trent/Outlaw was back. That's good to know.

Jory, I'm disappointed in you. Sanger is not south Texas.

Glad to see it done!

Whatever.

Trent is back, but is not longer "outlaw diesel", it is now "Platinum Diesel".

Texas is Texas. It's all south of the red river.

Maybe I missed it. Overall, how is the install of the frame extension? How about the ride?

Frame looks good. They plated the inside but not the outside. I may add a plate on the outside.

They moved the B&W back like I asked to closer to axle center. It is like 4" forward now, not 8".

Ride actually does seem better. I can't say much seat of pants, but I can say "better" for sure. I can't wait to get the bags on it and put a few pounds in them and see how much that changes it.

Compressor shipped today. The boat from Australia finally came into port.

Got some exhaust goodies from Ok Truck Supply on my way back home yesterday from my parents. They had some cool iron parked out front for the weekend show they are having Fri and Sat.

Looks like the frame shop is gonna send me a check for the injection pump. I'm happy to hear that.

Got the tail lights wired in last night. Apparently the ones on the 09 bed will not mount in an 07-08 bed. Damn the luck. Had to change the plugs as well. Trying to find replacement lenses now since the ones that came on the bed are both cracked.

PN on them are 55077116 A? and 117 A?

None of the dealers show these as valid numbers. They are molded right on the parts!

Gonna try to do exhaust tonight and maybe start on bags.

The plan was to do a single bull hauler; however, I have a really short turn out in 5" in the shop that I got from who knows where. I'll install it for now. The bull hauler in 36" long is around $205. I might get it down the road. I just need my exhaust out from under the cab, aux fuel tank, and my tool box mounted for now. Might be weaning calves this weekend and I need my truck for the stock trailer.

Had a productive night yesterday. Got the fuel tank mounted (but not wired), the bed mat in, exhaust and stack mounted, tool box mounted, safety chain holes for hitch drilled and installed, and one tail light swap.

I need to order a taller stack. I just put the stubby 5" that I had in it for now.

Bought two tail lights at O'Reily's and one was broke when I opened it.

I think it was 2016 when Wideopen gave me that Comp D sticker at TS. It's almost to the point where I need to remove and/or replace.

It's funny how every one says that but my truck doesn't smoke....so....

Besides...if it blew soot it would cover the bottom of it if I left it down low so what's the difference?

It doesn’t/hasn’t smoked because it’s not getting enough fuel to do so with that clogged filter! But now that there’s a new one in there... 😂

Exactly! Hard to be over-fueled when sucking through a clogged filter!
