Recon converters, who's running them?

I've got a 47rh being built guy said he's going to put in a recon triple disc converter. So I call the company that makes them and they say they rate them at 1400ftlb which shouldn't be a problem on my ~1050 ft lb 12 valve. So main question who has run them and what do you think of them?

I had a single disk billet recon that would shudder with just no plate 180 pump stock injectors. Phil at DPC is very knowledgeable and has refreshed my ATS and changed stall back to stock.

I've got one. 200rpm lower stall, triple disk. It's seen around 850hp for a few years, and never slipped until I had a trans fluid leak doing down the expressway with TC force locked... I had a line rupture and by the time I noticed (TC came unlocked) and I had stopped, it was too late. I would say it holds around 600ftlbs now, which is enough where I haven't spent the time/money to get it rebuilt yet because I just use my truck like a truck now.

Those remanunfactured triple disk from phil are under $1,000 I would talk to your builder about it before you had to install that recon convertor. I hope you are getting a bill it input with a triple disk convertor or it will be a ticking time bomb.
