Yes it is VGT. Exhaust side is stock per customers request to keep it cheap. They work well but if a turbine upgrade is desired that can happen as well. Have a couple 10 blade options available.

What would it cost to modify the turbine and how would this turbo run on stock injectors? I plan on upgrading injectors in the future.

The 6.0 turbine options were 66mm on the 03’s and in 04 they were slightly different. I believe slightly thicker that the turbine when into the housing more and the housing was designed for that specific turbine. In 05-07 they went with 64.5 turbine. I believe you’d be fine with a 10 blade 03 turbine with stock injectors. Just going that have to possibly have a different tune. Zach could give you a better idea for sure. I’m just speaking from experience.

This turbo is now a 10 blade 66mm turbine. Upgraded for somebody who backed out. $1000 shipped is the new price. Somebody needs a killer turbo for a really good deal!
