steet truck/ sled pulling
hey, with the truck in my sign, very very hard to start 4lo, and will choke mid track( need more power or tighter turbo?) , 3rd low will runn all the track loose at 42-300rpm, in 2 nd hi will start at 3500 and go down to 3000 in small class( 7500 lbs and 8500lbs) in 9500lbs or 10500lbs trun will run the same but rpm go down faster, will choke sometimes at the end of the track. have try to play with timing, no real change at higher rpm, just harder to start of the track with higher timing(22*) will a 62 or 64 turbo with the 68mm turbine wheel should be beter? .80 housing or .70? or it just need another turbo(compound)? tanks!

smaller turbing wheel on a 363 or 364.5 or the only option is to add another turbo like a 475?

Dont put a smaller turbine on. That will just make more heat and drive pressure. What gears in the axles? what size tires? You need more RPM first of all.

4.10 and 31" tires 3rd low is too loose and 2nd is limit, 4 low will work on loose track but limit

Nv4500 trans? Always been told 3rd is the weak gear. Re-gear axles to run 4th-lo, with 33 to 35" tires.

Man 17° of timing seems extremely low for the rpm mentioned. I’m no sled puller though.
