Dumping the 68rfe
I've HEARD NOTHING BUT GOOD ABOUT THE AISIN TRANS.
How hard is it to replace the crap box 68? Has anyone done this?

I've heard nothing but bad about either of them. Why not 48RE swap it?

I haven’t heard much good about the Aisin trans... no following on them, as far as support.
If I was going to swap, I’d do a 48.

Just had a 48 swap done on one truck and have another stock '13 with a 68. If you aren't pushing big power the 68 can hold it's own pretty well.
