Got to installing my S472 from Taylor yesterday.

Im using a ATS T-4 3rd gen manifold and factory 3rd gen cast elbow mounted to a 5"TBE.

Shes a sweet turbo..still needs some tuning love but pretty responsive.

My nozzles arent co-operating with being clean (DDP-200's) but im going to some Marine SAC nozzles in the winter.

She will make 20psi@2k and on a 2400uS, stock rail, tune she will smack 40psi and top out near 1200*.

So still plenty of fuel to throw at her.

When I get some time ill post a video of the "Soundless Turbo"

It seriously has no sound.
 
Ive been thinking of ditching my tow twins for a s472 single for a while now. I hardly ever tow anything and desperately need more on the top end. Is that an 11blade billet wheel? How are the street manners?

Street manners so far are good. I need to tweak the low end fueling to get her lit better below 1600rpm but nothing that can't be fixed.

No surge at all, no noise at all.

My converter is a 1400 stall as well and contrary to popular belief, it actually loads the charger better/sooner than say a 2000stall.

I'm quite happy so far.

I have the same questions plus i'm assuming you are running EFI LIVE? Is the head ported and or any internal mods that could add or take away? When does this turbo start in RPM?

No head mods, 188/220 cam..turbo starts to have fun near 2k.

And yes I'm running efi live and I have plenty of fuel on tap.

Yes from what I've been told, the 11-blade is why it's quiet.

No plans for a gate.
