If it works well, its going to rip a new one to all that come up against it.

It it doesn't work well, its still going to be the coolest low buck innovator out there.

I guess I'm wrong, it was my understanding it was a Dmax block. So only Dmax fueling I assume?

500% over LBZ injectors from what I read. Not sure what else is Duramax in the fueling system upstream.

compared to others in the industry who are pushing "out of the box motor programs" his build has considerably less resources tied to the R&D and manufacturing. Directly relating to the Banks crew's dive into the top screw big power diesel.

Even compared to others there is nothing "low buck" about that setup. There are guys racing pro stock with less in their entire setups including tow vehicles and trailers than there is in just that engine.

It is interesting, but it still doesn't run.

With the "out of the box" motor program they had the opportunity to really take common rail power to the next level, but didn't go "out of the box" in the single area that would make all the difference. As such they will still be up against the same hurdle as every other common rail for making big power. My prediction is that it doesn't come close to JSP's power numbers...

I'm of the opposite opinion, I think they will need such a large pulley in order to overdrive it enough to work with the limited rpm range that the crank pulley will damn near rub on the ground.

That is pretty bad ass either way! I'd like to see it run, I hope they get it all figured out.

What is the limited rpm range you think they will be working with?

500 cu in on a beefed up gas rod in a diesel at double the CR of a alky blower engine doesn't sound like a good combo to me
