replacement intercooler?

I need a new intercooler. My truck isn't a dodge, but the 94-02 intercooler fits it. don't have room for the mishimoto unfortunately. max width I can run is 2 1/2, and the stock one is 2 1/4.
anyone have luck with the stock aftermarket replacements? I've got 4 stock ones here and they all leak or have big holes in them.
my nice one is leaking at 4 of the tubes where they go in the ends.

Valeo 817151 is the one I'm looking at, or this one:

I ended up ordering it from rockauto. it came in black, and looks to be a bar and plate. seems to be working so far, hopefully it will continue as I had to cut the ac brackets off the front to use it.

I realize you found a fix, but I've run On3 Performance on several projects and they hold up well.
