This was a 10psi launch at the local drag strip.

I tried launching with as much boost as the brakes would hold, it was around 16-18psi when I left and dropped the driveshaft.

It was a pretty good day overall. I was able to drive home 25 miles in 4wd. 😈

Are you running any caltracs or anything? Prob wrapped the pinion yoke up. Quick truck

I had clamps on the front of the leaf springs. I should have had some on rear too, but that's all I had at the moment. I'm sure there was wrap still and caused this.. I plan on getting caltracs before going drag racing again haha

Little update. Got driveshaft fixed and new pinion yoke. Got some small modifications done and left to do. But going to make my first 1/4 mile passes next Thursday in Bradenton fl.

160 pump has never been benched or off truck. Original valve springs and stock output shaft. Still have original lift pump. On the original dana 44 1500 axles also.

That 60ft was cut on low tread 20” Goodyear Street tires.

best 60' last night was 1.662. mph dropped off to 117.50 on that run. 11.332.

Well I’m dedicating this to a race truck. Gutted the interior and working on gutting the bed soon. I put newer 20” stocks and removed mirrors also.
