cleaning intercooler

I pulled off the intercooler of a truck I am parting out. Appears to be in great shape, but thinking there may be some oil inside from the damaged engine. What is best way to cleanest ?

A solvent like acetone. Pour in. Swish, shake, and roll it around. Pour out, repeat till clean.
Everyone should clean theirs. Especially if you can feel a residue on the inlet or outlet.

Also break cleanerr works well too. However many can ya want to use. At least 5-8 spray cans and then swish or roll a round etc. And let dry for a couple hours. Definitely works well. Just let it sit a while before install and initiate crack. If their is any left over cleaner it will shoot into the intake and race up quick until its all blown thru there. Like spraying NOS into an idling intake, lol.
