I'm working on a build now that would have close to the set up you are describing though, so I'm curious to see where the hp is when you dyno. I know the last set up was with the ddp 4's but the turbo did those numbers as well. With everything slid to the rear with the 4's it wasn't a huge difference between the 215's and everything all the way forward. Let us know what you dyno. Thanks

CompD HP calculator puts 6700 lbs @ 101 MPH = 468 average HP

Well guys now that I've stirred all this up it looks like I won't be dynoing this weekend. Some things have come up and it looks like I won't be able to go, doubt I could have the truck back together in time anyway. I won't have the head back till tomorrow afternoon, and while I could pull an all nighter and make it run in time, I wouldn't have time to finish a couple other things in the works on it. I will be on the look out for another dyno day somewhere around here though and hopefully get some numbers.

I'm interested in seeing what it does to your EGTs. Mine pegs my *1600 pyro by the time I'm doing 55-60...

Interesting. Starting from a 5th gear highway roll, say 55mph, I peg my pyro (1500) at about 100mph. From a standing start going through the gears fast as I can, it'll do the same by about 80. I'm wondering how that'll change now though, my head gasket was apparently leaking combustion pressure on 4 cylinders.

Oh I never even thought of that, I had always just figured that my setup was just that much more fuel then your setup, but I wonder how much further I could make it if I had to let off to shift....

You mean full forward?

Also, I don't think rack plug matters when you still have a plate.

The AFC and the fuel plate were all the way toward the rear of the truck. When I put the pump and injectors in I had everything all the way toward the front and the turbo wouldn't light, also raw fuel was coming out the drive pressure port. After sliding to the rear you could still put the fire out if you stomped the pedal to the floor. Good to know about the rack plug, thanks.

Sounds like the AFC/Pump tuning was way off. I ran 5x.014s, benched pump, and an HX35. With the AFC FF and the plate half way. And with how I had the AFC setup the truck would make 36psi WOT and 1160* at 2600 rpm before I could feel it fall off on power. Wastegate fully functional and modified stock manifold to gate all 6 cylinders. Ran really strong for an HX35.

I can peg 1500* in about 3 seconds from a stop if I punch it.

I have stock 160 injectors
Stock delivery valves
4k gsk
Mack plug
No plate
Modded afc
Boost @ 35 psi
20* timing
45 psi fuel pressure @ WOT

Sounds like a stock hx35. I'm going to cheat and put a 3b under mine.

What was the rest of your setup when you did it?

I think I might try this combo before I buy injectors and dv's.

I would buy a turbo before injectors or fuel. I'd rather have extra air than too much fuel and have to constantly watch your egts.

Did you rack your barrels?
