Wish that was a 14mm set. I believe the 12v engines which used 12mm main studs were the 97+ engines.

No, my 95 and 96 has 12mm mains. I’ve seen some storm blocks with them tho.

Really? Both of my 95s use 14mm studs. The body of the mains step down, but the threads are wider, 14mm.
The information I find online is...
"The main bearing bolts have been revised from M14 to M12. This revision provides additional material in the block for added strength. The M14 main bearing bolts had a reduced shank diameter, so the strength of the bolts themselves is not being compromised. "

I hear ya. I can't act like I know what I'm talking about... I just learned that yesterday myself. Only because I'm in the market for a girdle and studs, and wanted to make sure I got the right stuff.
Yours is definitely 12mm though? Otherwise I'd definitely take off your hands

Some not all, although I’d say more have 14mm then 12mm only seen a couple. This info is also straight off II website which is always accurate lol
