Wanted: JD 4430 complete front axle assy.

I watched the video. Youtube recommended ultimate tractor fails after. I think there is a theme here.

I am worried about your safety. :)

I appreciate your concern, Dan and Jeff. If anyone has ever been around a 4020 Deere, they know these are the weakest spots on them. The front ends were never made for loaders in the first place. However, I have broken two spindles with nothing on the loader. The first two were brush hogging in the pasture. If you happen to be turning and the tire hits a hole.....pop...d.u.n. I've broke 4 since 2004 when I bought it. Two turning and two with the loader. The 720 is a large loader for that tractor and you should see the bucket. I can dang sure move some dirt but it gets heavy fast.

The solution is setting in at Aaron's house several hundred miles from here. Hopefully, I can make it work this summer. In the mean time, I'll build a 3-pt transport for them and stop carrying them across the pasture.

And Dan, if you carry them down low....you run over cows that you don't see. $.02

Couple good pics.

She's a good looking old girl Jory! I didn't realize they had front end trouble like that. Having a couple of them growing up we never had an issue, although neither had loaders on them. One of them was a side console and I wish it never got sold. Still have the other one, power shift model.

She is a little rougher now. I don't exactly baby her. It's a 68 with controls on the dash. I wish it was a '69 with the side console. It's a PITA to run the 3-pt on the dash and look back at the same time. Then again, I wish it were 4440 or 4450 with a cab, A/C, Heat, etc....but I wish a lot of things. I love feeding hay in an ice storm and getting my face bead blasted with ice. Absolutely love it. LOL

I have fond memories of driving home in storms, I was out cultivating once and thought I could beat a thunderstorm home. Needs less to say I didn't need a shower that night and the equipment was spotless.

I got the "save the front end" assembly done yesterday. Works like a champ of course. Extremely overbuilt. 4" square, 3/8" wall tubing horizontal and a chunk of 4" x 4" 3/8"wall channel for the riser. Pretty sure the arms will snap off before the attachments breaks. LOL I cut some of the channel out just to drop some weight.

All scrap material from the pasture but I had to buy the spears. 48" @ $59 each.

Took it for a trial run and decided to have some fun with the hell hound.
