Your Spectrum Viscous fan clutch is significantly cheaper, but I am curious to know its longevity and performance over factory.

So far it’s been doing it’s job well. No complaints here. Rod Macmaster speaks highly of them and has been running them for quite some time in a high hp tow rig type application, so figured it would do more than enough for me

So…. Been a hot minute since posting here. A lot has changed, so I’ll be sure to post better pics once we get it out of the shop and cleaned up, as well as a more detailed breakdown… but for now here ya go.

The 6.7 is in and running, and the NV5600 is in and ready to go. I can’t wait to get this thing on the road and hooked to a trailer again!

It’s a FI 467 for now. Eventually will be swapping to a 464/485 compound setup whenever time permits

What are you running for injectors and tubing eight that charger! Curious to know what kind of power you’re expecting and what kind of loads you’re planning to haul.

I would love to do a turbo and cam in my truck. I don’t haul heavy but a cam bump would be nice. Biggest trouble is I will not give up the exhaust break. I use it all the time. Got almost 190,000 on a set of factory brake pads!

I have 127% flux injectors. We haven’t had time to finish piping yet but it’s likely going to be 3.5” ic piping, downpipe is full 5”, and from the downpipe back is 6”. All stainlessbros material for the piping and vband flanges the whole way back. None of those cheesy band style clamps.

Once I throw a bigger pump on it I’d fully expect in the 900hp range, but I’ll be keeping it in the 700-750 range. All I tow currently is a 26’ gooseneck with the race truck on it and occasionally one of our sled trucks. But the plan is to upgrade the trailer soon so I can haul two trucks
