New build knock

If it wasn't for bad luck this guy would have none! The motor Built by a good machine shop I put it in and together 6000 miles later he has a hard knock at idle ONLY IDLE
rev it up or drive it and its gone? Has a 188/220 cam and a few other parts at least 500 HP No other issues just the knock I haven't seen it yet just heard it over the phone. he's 300 miles away. Any thoughts what it may be? I'm hoping a flex plate bolt came loose!

Souns like you already have an idea what it is. This would be my guess as well. All he can do is crawl under there and rotate it by hand and see what he comes up with.

Flex plate bolts, cracked flexplate, or loose converter bolts would be my guess

Another vote for cracked flex plate, happened to me before and it sure sounds like an internal engine problem.
