60lb valve spring limit
When are 60lb valve springs not enough spring for a 12v. They seem to the most common upgrade but there are other options out there. Is it determined by boost? rpm? What draws the line when say you need to from a 60lb spring to a 150lb?

Ive heard many people say 4k rpm is the limit with them but then again tons of people run over 4k without issues including myself. I would say the locks will pull through the retainers before you have a spring issue

60 lb does not mean 60 lbs...it means 60 lbs over stock, right?
Does 150 lb mean 150? ...or does it mean 150# over stock?

IIRC, the 60 lbs. designation was for the exhaust valves with an exhaust brake, they would hold back 60 psi of back pressure without blowing open.
