6.7 injectors in an 05?
OK i know the threads out there. Yes they work. But just as many that say yes also say no. So what is the deal here to run 6.7 injectors in an 05. It’s just going to be a driver and a tow pig. Really don’t even care to have any kind of tuning.
What do I need to do to run them. Or what’s up with this option. And why either way.
Thanks for your time.

I started a thread on this last year that went completely sideways.
IIRC:
1) clamp height is wrong, requires machining to correct
2) armature structure/coil resistance is different. ECM voltage is offset for this.
This causes issues at low lift like starting and haze.
I feel like tuning should be able to compensate.

I've done it. Unless you have super ultra special one-of-a-kind 6.7 injectors, use the correct 5.9 injectors. Hard start, white smoke, 2500rpm popping, etc.

Sounds good I’m opting out
Just had 2 extra sets for an 08 6.7. Only reason why I asked
