Im going to be watching this! Done 2 set ups and its not easy! Going to start working on a 3rd for a puller. Plus I want to see how you route the pipe, not a whole lot of room when your trying to get 4" pipe under the cowl.

Oh and if you need help, Ive been down that road and could save you A LOT of head aches and thrown tools! I can send some pictures of my old set up, thats easy, but not the best idea. or the way i have it now, which is a lot better, but not as clean.

that's what I'm saying, hood stacks get harder and harder as the truck gets newer and newer...

I came really close to doing one on the '04, but I just don't see a really good way to package everything

Thanks. I'm sure as we progress with this I may have to give you a shout.

Just an idea....
Thank you, we were hoping to generate some attention with this idea. Since it is for the end user's who better to ask what they need then them?!?!!

Yes our kit would include a nice 2pc mounting plate that would hide any lil' cutting mistakes...

Not sure yet. I think it will depend on the type of feed back we get here in the next few weeks from people like you! ANY type of insight anyone has to offer...we're listening.

2.5 - 8 inch transition.... you'd have to have at least 3 or 4 weld seams...

We know it's not easy to do this type of set up. Which is why we are hoping to make it a little easier on people by offering some sort of kit. ANY help you can offer would be great! Pictures, any ideas, whatever...we will listen and see if we can apply it!

I wonder if maybe we should work with a couple aftermarket turbo companies to help with this? While we are certain we will definatly offer a kit of some sort, you may see the universal kit first, which would include the stack, and the mounting system we are working on. From there you would have to plumb it your self. Ultimatly, we would like to offer everything from the turbo to the stack. We'll just have to work on finding a universal set up that can be used on make specific trucks.

Thanks for all your help! Keep the idea's coming!!

the turbo to the stack is no problem... it's the air filter to the turbo that's the problem

Take out the A/C system and its super easy, got all the room you could want. But it gets too darn hot in the summer, and I hate to hear all the ladies complain!

Remember to account for the torque of the engine and how much the pipe will move side to side...

Too bad they are illegal on the street in Georgia. If it wasn't for that stupid law I'd get one.

With these hood stacks our main market are the guys racing and pulling. While there is no way anyone could stop you from puting them on your daily drivers, but you're on your own with "Johnny Law"...

Thanks for all the insight everyone. This helps out alot.
