Same/Lamborghini 6ltr 2700rpm

Today i modified my pistons to have lower compression(14.5:1)

Used my lathe to cut 12cc out and 1mm in diameter of the first top.

And last weekend i picked up a Holset HE531V. Only the VGT was stuck with rust.

I haven't realy thought about that because of the low rpm (2700-3000max)
If i see how large the tolerance are of the crank , rods, flywheel etc.
I don't see much harm. Or wil it become out balance?
A single cylinder a lot harder with balance factor.

I don't see it being a problem, but Balancing weight between Pistons and rods will make it smoother and will never hurt.
Just my opinion :)

Thats for sure!!!
ill have to dig in my books for balance factor calculations.
And see how much is changed.

Its an inline 6cyl motor. As long as you took the same amount of material from each cylinder(piston) your the same balance as you were before. In a straight 6 the counterweights and weight from each cylinder cancel the other pair out because they are 180* from each other, its not like a v8. So the only thing that matters is if the weight from each cylinder is the same or fairly close
