Talking P-pump Delivery Valves- Upgrades

Anyone doing this mod in their p-pump? I hear of guys swapping and changing and swapping yet again to yet another set, all in tuning their set-ups. How about sharing your findings?

And which one's you end up with that performed the best?

Are they 181's?

Are they 191's?

Or better yet the laser cut gems?

And here's another to add to the above-

While you changed and swapped did you swap injection line sizes too with each set?

P-pumps gotta love em for their tunability

You can run any delivery valve you choose, then later add a set of 435's or DDP 4's.

I have heard of the 131's being machined on a 3-jaw chuck...does anyone have any pics compareing the lazers wtih the stockers? I have a set of 181's and am probably going to be jumping up now that I have larger injection lines and my 5x18 injectors

Hard to see what your talking about. Anyone have a comparable pic of a stock set so we can all see the difference?

is that because you already have a HIGH flowing inj pump?

how would the lazer cuts do on a normal 215 pump, thats never been bench flowed in a injection shop? only a plate, GSk and so...
and i have 435 injectors and a Htb2 64/14 turbo. at 5000 ft elevation!

or would i get more eficient power out of the 191's

Bigger injectors? are the 435's holding back from smoking? i thought it was the pump!
you mean lazer cut DVs will be too much fuel for the 435's? might be tru! where can i get 022's?

Jr adkins just told me for $250 + cores
Puredieselpower has lazer cuts for $275, i think! no cores!
where do they have 022's and how do they compare to 191, 022, & lazer cuts?

I have been comtimplating the same thing myself, more fuel. What I have now come to realize though its about more efficient fuel. I am using 191's and will probaly stay here. I was givien this anaolgy, if you are trying to fill a coffee cup as fast as possible, using a five gallon bucket full of water think of all the and excess fuel going every where and not to think about half of the water going in the cup will not stay there and will slosh itself out. My suggestion would be to try a honed injector first and maybe a 191(dynomite diesel has some of the best), Some of the bigger horse power guys get more cc's of fuel injected in the right place using these that overly sized stock injectors. If you haven't increased your timing yet than will also help, I have a very similar set up and to tell you the truth it was like night and day!

from what i have heard............... the 435 are much bigger than the Marine 370's and have the potential to puch a LOT more fuel. Chuch from neweradiesel.com told me that the 435's are about 55 horse over marine 370s with the correct amount of air.

I wish I would have taken a pic of my 191s next to my 131s. I had the 191s out today and I have a spare set of 131s laying around.
