I was wondering if anyone had thier own mix of water methanol they do. If so where in the world do you get the stuff from? I tryed online and they had some ok prices but the shipping was crazy (almost double )

I buy methanol for $3.50 a gallon at place that sells fuel, heating oil and other lubricants in North Carolina and mix it a little less than 50/50 according to snow performance, I don't mix mine that strong, about 2 gals of water to 1 gal methanol, can really feel it come in and takes about 300 degrees off the EGT

i get mine from a buddy of mine who runs a dirt track car.. he gets it for something like $1.50/gal he just gives it to me.

HEET anit-freeze is 99% methanol, it comes in a yellow or red bottle. It's cheap, and most windshield washer fluid uses 20% methanol. Diesel World or Power Mag, did a study, they gain 70hp on 75% meth 25% water (distilled water, no impurities) and it was a stock cummins with an edge!

Are you sure it was 99% methanol and that the anti-freeze was reason for mishapp.

I have never herd anyone try antifreeze how does it work. cant get the video to work to watch it

Was using winter windshield stuff but ran out so got 5 gal of methanol from work and mixed about 50/50. ( isn't the oil patch great ! ) Haven't seen much of a temp drop or power gain , but did notice my mileage drop when the tank went empty !
