2005 Jeep Liberty CRD

For sale is a 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD, automatic, 4 wheel drive with 193,067 miles. I bought the Jeep in October 2021 and have done the following work to it. Everything is new within the last 2,000 miles.

- Moog front wheel bearings
- Moog tie rod ends
- Moog lower ball joint
- Moog upper ball joint
- Moog upper control arm bushings
- Moog lower control arm bushings
- Moog rear drive shaft u-joints (x2)
- Drivers side front CV axle shaft
- Rocky Road Outfitters 3” lift kit which includes
- Old Man Emu (OME) front springs
- OME front struts
- OME rear springs
- Rear shocks
- Black Rock 16” Steel wheels
- 265/75/R16 Interco Super Swamper Irok ND tires

For its age this Jeep Liberty is very clean. Minor blemishes in the body, some rust starting at the bottoms of the doors but very clean for its age. Interior is a 8/10. Only major issue is a missing drives side interior door handle. Other than that everything works as it should. Trailer lights and cruise even work!

Had an alignment done as soon as all the above work was completed. It surprisingly goes down the road very well. With some less aggressive tires and a gear swap it would be a great grocery getter.

I am firm at $8,500 for this Jeep as no expense was spared putting it together. Only trade would be a Dodge 2500 with a Cummins Diesel motor.

Clean NY title.

Message me and I will pass along my phone number.

Thanks for looking,
Zach

My dad and I were talking about putting a tractor together and I thought the same thing.

Bumping this up.

Found another project I’d like to start on. This needs to go. Delivery availability for an additional cost.

Just the local 466 hot farm class. It was a very reasonable class. But now they’ve adopted some new rules to be close to a 466 Super farm class (double cut tires, chassis, roll cage, etc.) lost our interest quick.

Not a bad price at all, with all that work recently done. I just got one running that had a timing belt failure. I love this thing!

My thoughts exactly. There is a lot of work and a lot of new parts here.

But there is 0 interest in this thing.

2nd on the list in the for sale section after 3 weeks of no activity. Is it even worth the bump?

Is CompD dying? I remember when you had to be on this site multiple times a day to grab something that came of for sale before someone else did.

Yeah, I can't wait to wake up to a rust free 2nd gen tomorrow! I mean since sleepy Joe declared Ohio is no longer the rust belt today, that means all rust disappears tonight right? Apparently building a semi conductor chip factory is going to change our weather to be like silicone Valley, no more salt!!!

There's a reason they make chips overseas.

Conclusions
The semiconductor industry uses large quantities of water and a wide range of heavy metals, acids, alkalis, and toxic and hazardous organic and inorganic chemicals. Hence this industry is facing serious environmental problems. Recovery and reuse of water, acids, and other chemicals could solve many of its waste disposal problems, but the need for high purity water and chemicals makes the industry hesitant to reuse the recovered chemicals. Biofilters or biotrickling filters appear to be good technologies for treating vapors and gaseous effluents from the semiconductor plant. Coagulation followed by settling and filtration of the liquid effluent is effective and cheap for removing the hazardous material from the effluent, but the disposal of the toxic sludge generated is a serious problem that has not been solved. Bioremediation for liquid effluent appears to be very limited except for the use of biosorption for extracting metals. Phytoremediation also appears to be a good technique for treating contaminated soil and solid wastes.

But at least you'll have more jobs.

What kind of fuel mileage does the Jeep get?

I think people are either spending money out of control or being complete tight asses during this inflation. I’m with that latter party unfortunately. I buy what is needed for maintenance and upkeep on my machines every week and my “want list” is sitting stagnant for the most part.

GLWS. Unique ride and I think a cool little woods rig.

Same here. Long list but not going to overpay for any of it.

Honestly, not real sure. Never worked it out. I just put fuel in it and drive it. I don’t even remember what size tank it has in it. 13? 14? I drive it so seldom I don’t put fuel in it often. It generally gets 250-275 miles to a tank.

I hear ya. I stared this before it got to bad so all the extras made sense. Plus, I wanted reliability. After I finished it I didn’t want to be wrenching on it every other time I drove it.

It is a fun little truck. Surprised me in the mud. Handled everything I took it through very well. No real rush to sell other than starting a new project. So for the time being I’ll use it for the reason I bought it.

Been driving the heck out of this the past week while my daily driver is in the shop. By weeks end I’ll have put close to 1,000 miles on it in.

I ran the fuel mileage for the last two fill ups. First fill up, it got 19.3 mpg, which consisted of a mix of highway, local and pulling my little landscape trailer. The second full up I go 22.5 mpg, which was monthly highway mileage.

Not bad in my opinion, especially running tires that are 4 sizes larger than stock.

New parts that need to be installed include
- Complete HD rocket arm kit
- Intake air gasket
- Injector copper crush washers and o-rings
- Timing belt, pulleys and tensioner (timing belt tool included)
- Surpentine belt, idler pulley and tensioner
- HD fan clutch
- Cummins in tank fuel pump and sending unit
- Iron Rock Off Road 3rd member and lower control arms with all adjustable links
- MBRP exhaust

PM me if interested.

Axles have been swapped to 4.10s, fuel pump installed in fuel tank, and new exhaust installed.

Price drop to $6,500. Can help with delivery for an extra cost.
