Came across this turbo. I haven't measured it but my friend said it was a 60/68/1.00 . Does anyone have any info on it?

I figured with a .70 or .80 wastegated A/R [12cm/14cm] it would be a good little towing turbo. [Next to a HT3B 23cm]

I think that is identical to the 177280 box charger. I think it would make a sweet turbo.

I tried to cross it and got 178421 and 16878 as the Borg numbers.

I measured the wheels:

Turbine - 76.26mm/67.62mm
Compressor - 79.82mm/58.80mm

I'm not totally sure I measured the compressor correctly since the blades are offset. I could move the calipers around and get anywhere from 57.xx to low 59's. So I'm not sure if that means it's a "true" 60mm or not. Seems most of Borg's turbo wheel sizes are rounded up so maybe it is.

I plan to order the .70AR/12cm housing this week. I did notice that AGP has a HE351 outlet housing as well as the standard HX40 for the S300.

I have a 62/65/12 that is a bit laggy for my towing purposes. Do you know if the exhaust housing will fit on any of the S300s with a 65 turbine? I’d be interested in a 57mm or a 61mm sx-e if it would spool a bit better. I tow a lot and I find I’m pulling hills in 4th even empty to keep temps down around 1000*

I’m fairly certain it will. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

If your pyro probe is in the manifold there is no reason to try to keep egt around a 1,000*. 1,250* preturbo sustained is fine as long as your other temps stay in check.
